Our gift to you is an
exceptional PIA member benefit for you and all your
personnel! We're in our 17th year of
presenting at least three quality education seminars in
Nebraska. Providing six to eight CE hours for each
institute, or 18 to 24 hours per year.
We are happy to encourage all staff members
in our member agencies to attend FMO Seminars and save
approximately $95 for each six-hour segment. Your membership
fee is probably far less than the amount of money you spend
to keep your agency staff and producers' licenses up to
date! That's a savings of $285 per agency member, per year,
based on an average of $95 seminar fee for non-members.
Education will continue to be a priority for PIA, as we want
you to have the competitive edge and practice
professionalism in your business. PIA instructors are
independently contracted agents and company personnel whose
expertise in the industry adds personal flair to the
program.

Nature, Clients and Experts
The Cycle and Circle of Loss and Recovery!
This class focuses on the importance of uncovering
exposures and offering appropriate coverage to the Personal
Lines insured. Participants will learn skills to reveal the
unique insurance needs of each individual and apply
appropriate policies and endorsements to provide this needed
coverage. Provisions and exclusions in the Homeowners and
Personal Auto policy will be discussed along with
endorsements which can be offered as solutions. Other
policies will be examined as well as the unique underwriting
challenges each of them offer. The class concludes with a
review of several helpful forms which agents can take back
to the office to help uncover exposures, such as: Exposure
Checklist, Renewal Review Checklist, Customer Satisfaction
Survey and Annual Review Letter.
Employment
Practices - Test Your Knowledge
The explosion in employment practices claims as suits by
employees against their employers, supervisors, co-workers
and others continues to grow. They are a huge cost to your
insureds not only due to the fact that they are
embarrassing, degrading, insulting and morally reprehensible
but the claims seek astronomical damages. The purpose of the
program is to assist you in both identifying the risk and in
mitigating it. We will identify the risk itself by looking
at the various federal and state bases of liability and
transferring the risk to the appropriate insurance products.
Remember that new decisions are being rendered every day
that impact the liability issues your clients face.
